The Arizona State men's basketball program is going to try and start making up some games.
Two contests postponed the last two weeks have been rescheduled. ASU's contest against Utah (8-8, 1-5) at Desert Financial Arena, which was to have been played Thursday but was called off earlier this week due to COVID issues in the ASU program, will now be played at 2 p.m. on Monday and will be aired on Pac-12 Network.
The other game back on the schedule is the road game against No. 5 USC (13-1, 3-1) at the Galen Center, which originally was set for Dec. 30 but postponed due to COVID issues with theTrojans. That will now be played at 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24 and air on ESPN2.
The next game for the Sun Devils (5-8, 1-1) is scheduled for 8 p.m. on Saturday against Colorado (11-3, 3-1).
ASU last played on Jan. 2 at Cal, losing 74-50. That game originally was scheduled for Jan. 19 but was moved up because games against UCLA and USC were postponed that week. Administrators from the school and conference chose to move up the Cal game to provide flexibility for making up other games later, which now will happen.
